Matched Giving

The Paul and Yuanbi Ramsay match has provided us with significant additional funding throughout its duration, and has encouraged many of you to give to the University. The Ramsay matching scheme is now at an end and we are extremely grateful to Paul and Yuanbi for their immense past support through this scheme, and for their ongoing support to other areas of our campaign.

We are delighted to announce that the UK Government is providing us with an exciting new matching opportunity for the University's supporters - never before have alumni donations been worth as much as they will be during this period. For three years from August 2008 the UK government is providing us with 33% more on every single gift we receive. So we will receive an extra $1 for every $3 we raise.

This is a fantastic opportunity for us to boost our fundraising after you have given your gift.
The extra money gained from the government will be used to set up a new Alumni Impact Fund, to be split equally between the University's five Colleges and used to fund projects that the College Heads feel would make the greatest difference within their College.
